Is HTM Entertainment a real record label?

No, HTM Entertainment is not a real-world record label. It is a fictional label serving as the home base for an interactive, multimedia art project and upcoming book series by author William Hrvatin. The goal of HTM Entertainment is to create a truly immersive storytelling experience. As you read the books, you can step directly into the world of HTM by listening to the characters' music on your favourite streaming service, exploring the artists' social media pages, and navigating the label's website.
The music within the HTM universe is written by William Hrvatin, who began as an independent artist under the stage name Ansett. Under the Ansett moniker, William released two full-length albums and an EP. All of his music was created using self-taught skills and a dedication to his vision. Within the HTM Universe, a majority of the work consists of old demos that did not fit the Ansett sound and image. Using classic production techniques alongside modern tools, William brings the world to life through AI Vocaloid technology. Through the magic of Vocaloid AI, HTM artists are given their voices either by reskinning an old Ansett track or having an original song written to support the storyline. At its core, the music is made by humans and enhanced by technology.

How is the music made?
Not at all. We understand that AI is a complex topic in the creative community, so we want to be fully transparent. The books are 100% written by William Hrvatin. The stories driving the HTM Universe are deeply personal, blending real life experiences with original fiction. AI Vocaloid technology is simply used as an audio production tool allowing us to creatively overcome the limitations of an independent label to give each digital artist a unique singing voice. The storytelling will always remain a purely human creation.

How is the visual artwork and photography for the HTM Universe created?

The visual world of HTM is a collaborative effort between human design and digital assistance. The artists themselves and their looks, aesthetics, and personal styles, are entirely the creation of William Hrvatin's vision. To bring these characters to life without a massive Hollywood budget, we use AI-assisted tools to generate the ultra-realistic "candid" photography that you see on their social media. However, the overarching aesthetic and corporate identity of the HTM Entertainment label is the work of Edward Tran. As a graphic designer by trade Edward is a key collaborator on the visual journey of HTM. Edward crafts the logos, layouts, and official branding that ground the fictional label in reality.

At its center is HTM Entertainment, a fictional record label that serves as the home base for a diverse roster of digital artists.
